With over 30 years of service, Ken's Transport has grown from one truck to a fleet of 18 Day-Cab Tractors, 8 Sleeper Tractors and 19 Pneumatic Trailers
The flatbed division was started in March 2007 and now consists of
11 Flatbeds, 2-Covered Wagons, and 2-Conestoga Wagons.
Family-owned and operated, Ken's Transports' dry bulk business is dedicated to providing superior service by
anticipating their customers' needs, responding to their expectations and providing on time delivery. This dedication to service has
been the driving force behind the company's growth and continued success. The years of experience and customer driven approach in the Dry Bulk busine
has been the foundation for the Flatbed Division. Ken's Transport was founded in 1976. In 1999, Ken's Transport was acquired by Schiemann Investments, Inc. The initial operation was contained within Ohio, but soon expanded to nine other Midwestern states. We currently have IFTA authority in thirty four states and they are: AL, AR, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WI, WV. While the company is licensed in these states, temporary licenses can be obtained so that Ken's is not strictly limited to these 34 states. Ken's Transport will continue to expand in direct response to our customers' needs. As a leading dry bulk carrier and flatbed carrier, with ownership that stands ready to meet future challenges head-on, Ken's Transport will continue our focus on customer satisfaction as we grow into the future. |
